Here you have an English translation of the 1st part, I hope it would help:
Jacek Kaczyński: It’s about 30 years since you first met Mr. Dieter Bohlen. I sit a good occasion to celebrate any anniversary?
Thomas: No, no, no, no no. In a certain way to be honest it doesn’t look like 30 years.
JK: That’s is exactly my next question: Can you believe that it’s already 30 years?
TA: No. This is I think a natural feeling, cause when you’re young…
JK: Young as you and me…
TA: Yes’ thank you. So, when you’re young the future seems to be a long period of time, but when you’re getting older, when you’re old, the past is so short.
JK: It’s very philosophical, but it’s true.
TA: Yes, it’s true.
JK: So Thomas Anders 30 years ago and Thomas Anders now. Anything has changed?
TA: Yes. Now I’m 30 years older.
JK: 30 years older, that’s all?
TA: No.
JK: But your soul is still young?
TA: Yeah, I thing you always feel younger than what you have in the passport. A really great thing about getting older is that you’re getting wiser and you’re getting more calm, that you know, where you stand. I can tell you something and again it will be something philosophical saying: it’s like that the young people are faster but the older know the way. So this makes life more convenient.
JK: Can you imagine how many people, especially boys hated you in the 80.? You know why?
TA: Because the girls…
JK: Because your posters were in almost every girl’s bedroom.
TA: Sorry…
JK: You will have to say “I’m sorry” to all the guys in Poland. Do you like those years? I mean the 80., three years of MT?
TA: I love much more the 90. And the beginning of the new century.
JK: The 90.?
TA: Yes, you know, when we were back in ’98.
JK: It was “Back for good”
JK: I give you now three names, three pseudonyms: Bernd Weidung, Phantomas and Chris Copperfield and I will ask you if you know those guys?
TA: Oh, yes, it’s me. This is what I love in my business: you can give you names and stay the same person.
JK: Personally I must admit that my favorite is Chirs Copperfield, I really love Madness’ “Our House”. It’s really great. It was 90.?
TA: It was 90., exactly.
JK: And now you’re doing what?
TA: I’m doing what I like. The last thing I did was my Christmas album which came out last year. Now I’m thinking about the new concerts, for new album for new songs. Now please allow me just jumping back and… this is something when you’re getting older, you feel more relaxing, you’re not rushed. It’s not like you’re saying: I have to, I need to do this now… No. I’m thinking about doing it and when the time is right, I will start to do it. It’s is very convenient.
JK: Why did you choose Russia for recording “Strong”?
TA: Because I was asked to do so. Sergey Revtov who is very famous producer in Russia, got in touch with me, cause he said he is very big fan of mine and wanted to record an album with me. And he sent me some songs. And I said “WOW”, this is very good music. So I said yes, let’s give it a try. When the next time I will be in Moscow, we can go to the studio and record a new song. And the result was so great that I said: next time when I was there we can record another one and then the whole album. It’s because our personal likes and music wise was really close. So we said “yes, let’s give it a try”.
JK: And it was a success.
TA: Yes, it was a success.
